Cassandra Ong tracked in Japan, says PAOCC

The Presidential Anti‑Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) on Saturday revealed that Cassandra Li Ong, the documented representative of Philippine offshore gaming operator Lucky South 99, was last located in Japan following her release from detention.

PAOCC spokesperson Winston Casio announced the tracking update during a news forum in Quezon City, saying Ong’s current whereabouts abroad were confirmed after she emerged from custody.

Ong has an active warrant of arrest issued in May by the Pampanga Regional Trial Court for qualified human trafficking in connection with the alleged scam-hub operations of Lucky South 99.

The development comes a day after Senator Sherwin Gatchalian told a Senate panel that Ong had been released from detention and was now “at large.”
