MANILA, Philippines — Canlubang and Luisita, the two clubs at the heart of the Philippine Airlines (PAL) Interclub’s most celebrated rivalry, will be inducted into the tournament’s Hall of Fame during its 76th edition.
Canlubang, the most successful team in the Men’s division, has won 17 PAL Interclub titles, including the distinction of being the first club to secure five consecutive championships (2006-2010) and another four in a row (2000-2003).
Their Seniors team, with 11 titles, also earns a spot in the Hall, highlighted by a four-year championship streak from 2006 to 2009.
Luisita boasts the most Senior team victories in tournament history, claiming 18 titles and a remarkable six consecutive wins from 2000 to 2005. The regular team, with eight titles, also achieved a three-peat from 1991 to 1993.
Joining them in the Hall of Fame for the Regular Men’s championship are Bacolod Gold and Country Club, Camp Aguinaldo, and the rising force in the Interclub, Manila Southwoods.
