Six individuals were arrested during a series of anti-drug operations in Central Luzon on Friday and Saturday, resulting in the seizure of over PHP1 million worth of suspected shabu.
According to a report from the Police Regional Office-Central Luzon (PRO-3), operations took place in the provinces of Nueva Ecija, Zambales, and Pampanga. In Zambales, one suspect was arrested with 33 grams of suspected shabu valued at PHP224,400. Two individuals were apprehended in Nueva Ecija with approximately 100.5 grams worth PHP683,400, while three suspects in Pampanga were found with about 15 grams valued at PHP102,000.
“The arrests demonstrate how an integrated and relentless approach to drug enforcement can effectively cripple local networks,” stated PRO-3 Director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. He added, “It sends a strong message that there will be no safe haven for drug personalities in Central Luzon.”
