South Korea — Kpop icons BTS is expected to reunite this month as remaining members RM, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook are set to be discharged next week from the army.
They will be followed by Suga on June 21 as the last member to complete his mandatory military service. While Jin and J-hope completed their military requirements back in 2024.
The group will also be celebrating their 12th anniversary this June 13.
Before the members went off for their enlistment, each of them showed a glimpse of their solo career as a goodbye for their fandom, the ARMYs.
Jin released his single, The Astronaut, before enlisting in December 2020, which he performed for the last time in Buenos Aires at Coldplay’s concert.
J-hope’s Jack In The Box was his last album before enlisting early in April 2023, following Jin.
Suga went across Asia and the USA to hold a solo world tour titled D-Day. The tour started on April 26, 2023 and ended on August 3, in Seoul.
Both Jimin’s Like Crazy and Jungkook’s Seven achieved the number one spot on Billboard Hot 100s in 2023 for a week each.
Taehyung showed his acting skills when he was featured as IU’s boyfriend in her Love Wins All music video.
Meanwhile, group leader RM, released the album Right Place, Wrong Person in May 2024 during his enlistment, winning multiple awards in Germany.
J-hope also released the album Hope On The Street during his military service. After finishing his enlistment, he toured Hope On The Stage across Asia and North America from February 28 to June 1, 2025.
Jin released two full albums, Happy and Echo, after finishing his mandatory army enlistment. Happy was released on November 2024, followed by Echo in May 2025.
While promoting Echo, Jin also announced his solo world tour #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR which will visit nine cities in total.
Jin’s solo tour starts from June 28, 2025 and is set to end on August 10, 2025. Following this will be the grand comeback of all BTS members as a group.
