Former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. is at the Sandiganbayan Third Division Tuesday for processing following his surrender in connection with alleged anomalies in a flood control project in Pandi, Bulacan.

Revilla arrived at the anti-graft court this morning for the issuance of commitment orders and booking procedures.

The former senator turned himself in Monday night after a Sandiganbayan warrant was issued against him and six other individuals linked to the infrastructure project.

In a video posted on Facebook, Revilla said he was saddened by the warrant but would face the charges without fear, affirming his innocence and asking for prayers for his family.

Authorities escorted Revilla from the Philippine National Police headquarters in Camp Crame to the Sandiganbayan for processing.

The hold-departure order also covers dismissed assistant engineers Brice Hernandez and Jaypee Mendoza, engineers Arjay Domasig and Emelita Juat, finance chief Juanito Mendoza, and cashier Christina Pineda.

Officials said all procedures are standard for individuals facing graft and malversation charges in government projects.
