The Bureau of Customs (BOC) generated more than Php 80.3 million from the sale of confiscated luxury vehicles through public auctions this year.
Customs officials said several of the units sold were previously linked to contractor couple Cezarah Discaya and Pacifico Discaya.
Data showed that four vehicles connected to the couple were auctioned this year, contributing about Php 54,797,000 to total collections, while additional units had been sold in earlier auctions.
Separately, a Rolls Royce Phantom not tied to the couple was sold to a lone bidder during a public auction on Tuesday, adding about Php 25,548,050, including registration costs.
The agency said overall proceeds from public auctions this year had reached roughly Php 99.5 million, although details on other sources of revenue were still being verified.
Several high value vehicles remained unsold during the latest auction, including units from brands such as Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes Benz, and Land Rover.
Customs said unsold items could be offered through negotiated sale after repeated failed bidding, allowing interested buyers to submit offers directly.
The agency added that remaining seized vehicles linked to the Discayas would be offered for direct purchase, while proceeds from earlier auctions had already been remitted to the Bureau of the Treasury.
