Blackpink Unveils New Song “Jump” During “Deadline” World Tour Kickoff

K-pop supergroup Blackpink debuted their new song “Jump” on Saturday during the opening night of their “Deadline” world tour in South Korea. The four-member group performed at Goyang Stadium for the first of two kickoff nights, showcasing the energetic track, which has been featured in fan-shot videos circulating on social media.

Prior to the concert, Blackpink teased the new song on their social media accounts with the caption: “Ready to jump?” “Jump” is their first new release in nearly two years, following “The Girls” in August 2023. During this time, members Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé have primarily focused on solo activities.

In addition to “Jump,” the girls performed their new solo tracks at the concert, as seen in various social media videos. Following their South Korea shows, the 16-stop tour will take Blackpink across North America and Europe before returning to Asia, including a two-night performance at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on November 22 and 23.

Since their debut in 2016, Blackpink has become one of the most successful K-pop girl groups, being the first female K-pop group to top the Billboard 200 with their sophomore album “Born Pink” and the first Asian act to headline the Coachella festival in the United States.
