It is no longer just a slogan. The world is firmly, undeniably in BLACKPINK’s area.

The global supergroup has made digital history after becoming the first musical artist ever to surpass 100 million subscribers on their official YouTube artist channel, a milestone no act before them has reached.

To commemorate the feat, YouTube awarded BLACKPINK with a custom Red Diamond Creator Award, an ultra-rare honor created exclusively for the platform’s most influential creators.

The achievement places Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa in a league entirely of their own. While the Diamond Play Button itself is already considered elite, the Red Diamond represents a new tier of global reach and sustained cultural power. For BLACKPINK to be the first music act to cross into that space underscores how deeply their influence extends beyond charts, tours, and trends.

That influence has been powered in no small part by Filipino fans. The Philippines has consistently ranked among BLACKPINK’s strongest markets, contributing heavily to the group’s staggering 3.3 billion views over the past year alone, based on YouTube Charts data.

From nonstop streaming of “Pink Venom” to repeat plays of “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” now well past 2.3 billion views, Pinoy BLINKs have been a driving force behind the march to 100 million.

The timing of the milestone only amplifies its impact. After a period defined by blockbuster solo releases and a world tour that once again filled the Philippine Arena, the quartet is set to reunite as a full group. BLACKPINK will release their third mini-album, DEADLINE, on February 27, with lead single “Go” already generating intense anticipation across global playlists and social feeds.

From their 2016 debut to becoming the first music act to claim YouTube’s Red Diamond in 2026, BLACKPINK has followed a trajectory that few artists in any era have matched. With a 100-million-strong subscriber base watching their every move, the group is once again positioned to redefine what global superstardom looks like in real time.

History is already written. The next chapter, as always with BLACKPINK, is just getting started.
