
MANILA – The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) reported a 100 percent resolution and compliance rate for taxpayer complaints and concerns referred through two government feedback channels during the first half of 2026.
According to consolidated data from the Presidential 8888 Citizens’ Complaint Center, the BIR received 778 referrals from January to June 2026, all of which were addressed and closed within the prescribed 72-hour period.
The agency recorded zero instances of delayed action, reflecting full compliance with the required response timeframe.
The BIR also achieved a 100 percent resolution and compliance rate for concerns referred through the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) Contact Center ng Bayan.
All 59 referrals received through the CSC platform, including 17 formal complaints, were resolved within the required 72-hour period.
The agency said the results demonstrate its commitment to improving public service delivery and ensuring that taxpayer concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently.
The accomplishment forms part of the BIR’s Service Excellence and Stakeholder Engagement agenda, which seeks to strengthen accountability, responsiveness and public trust in tax administration.
The BIR reaffirmed its commitment to providing timely, efficient and accessible services to taxpayers and other stakeholders.
