IV of Spades is Billboard Philippines’ latest cover star, featured in the magazine’s November issue wearing their signature vintage style.
In the cover story “Back IV More,” the OPM band talked about their reunion and the making of their new album, Andalucia. Fans were surprised with their comeback single, “Aura,” released in July after a five-year hiatus.
In an exclusive interview with GMA News Online, the band discussed their renewed bond and musical direction. Guitarist Blaster Silonga said they had “no choice” but to work on their relationship before returning as a band.
“Mas nagka-respect kami sa isa’t isa,” bassist Zild Benitez added. “Tsaka nalaman na namin ‘yung feeling na hindi kami magkakasama, so alam namin na gusto namin ginagawa namin.”
Andalucia, released earlier this month, is a 12-track album covering love, mental health, and longing, including tracks like “Konsensya,” “Nanaman,” and “Suliranin.”
The band will perform at their first arena shows on December 12 and 13 at SM Mall of Asia Arena.
