Representing Australia with grace, intelligence, and an unwavering commitment to environmental advocacy, Jessica Lane was crowned Miss Earth 2024 during the pageant’s grand finale on Saturday, November 9.
Lane triumphed over 75 other contestants from around the globe at the prestigious event held at Okada Manila in Parañaque City. She succeeds Albania’s Drita Ziri, who won the title last year.
Lane’s passion for environmental protection and her dedication to global sustainability issues resonated deeply with both the judges and the audience. Her victory has sparked pride across Australia, with supporters celebrating her achievement.
In addition to Lane’s crowning, three other “elemental” queens were named: Miss Earth-Air Hrafnhildur Haraldsdóttir from Iceland, Miss Earth-Water Bea Millan-Windorski from the USA, and Miss Earth-Fire Niva Antezana from Peru.
Meanwhile, the Philippine candidate, Irha Mel Alfeche, reached the top 12 but did not advance further in the competition.
