Asialink Targets PHP17B Loan Disbursement in 2025

Asialink Finance Corporation remains optimistic about reaching its PHP17 billion loan disbursement target this year as more entrepreneurs take advantage of the expanding economy.

“As of August 2025, we have already released PHP10.7 billion in loans, and we expect this to grow steadily in the remaining months of the year,” Asialink president and CEO Samuel Cariño told the Philippine News Agency.

The online finance firm offers loans for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), including collateral and auto loans.

In July, Asialink launched its WAIS Loan Program, which provides up to PHP20 million in funding for women entrepreneurs, supported by the Asian Development Bank and the International Finance Corporation.

Last September 24, the company introduced singer-actress Jolina Magdangal as its WAIS Loan brand ambassador.

Cariño said partnering with Magdangal aims “to connect with more women entrepreneurs in a way that feels relatable and inspiring.”

He added that the actress “represents resilience, hard work, and the ability to balance family and career — values that resonate with many Filipinas who aspire to grow their businesses.”
