Arvin Tolentino is taking his talents to South Korea. The former NorthPort standout was officially welcomed by the Seoul SK Knights on Friday through an Instagram post, confirming his move from the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) to the Korean Basketball League (KBL).
Tolentino, a 6-foot-5 forward, brings a strong resume to the Knights. He is a two-time PBA champion with Barangay Ginebra, the team that drafted him in 2019, and was recently named Best Player of the Conference in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup.
The Seoul SK Knights, who finished as runners-up to Carl Tamayo’s Changwon LG Sakers in the 2024–25 KBL season, are looking to bolster their roster with Tolentino’s addition.
Meanwhile, fellow Filipino player Juan Gomez de Liano, who saw limited action in the last KBL season, was not renewed by the Seoul SK Knights, marking a different turn in his international basketball journey.
