Arellano University secures five-set win over Perpetual Help in V-League

Arellano University’s Lady Chiefs defeated Perpetual Help in a thrilling five-set match, 20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 22-25, 15-9, at the 2025 V-League Collegiate Challenge held at Paco Arena in Manila. The victory improved Arellano’s record to 2-3, keeping their semifinal hopes alive ahead of a key game against Letran Lady Knights.

Outside hitters Laika Tudlasan and Heart Villaflores were instrumental in the win, combining for 48 points in the match. Villaflores contributed 21 points after coming off the bench, while Tudlasan led with 27 points. Setter Catherine Domasig also played a crucial role, delivering 23 sets and adding nine points.

Perpetual Help remains fourth with a 2-4 record despite the loss, led by Jernalyn Menor’s 20 points and Camille Bustamante’s 19. Arellano will next face Far Eastern University on October 1 after the league’s break for the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship.
