Apple Dy, the sultry siren who steamed up screens in VMX’s most talked-about erotic films, is finally hanging up her lingerie — at least on camera. The actress-turned-entrepreneur has decided to close the door on her sexy movie career and open a new one… with a microphone in hand.
“I’ve gracefully closed my chapter with Vivamax,” Apple told Cabinet Files, sounding like a woman ready for a different kind of spotlight. “I’m grateful for the platform it gave me to grow, take bold steps, and discover my strength as an actress. But now, my focus is on new creative paths, stories, and roles that reflect my growth and evolution as an artist.”

Her new playground? Viva One, where she promises to appear in “wholesome” projects — though she’s keeping mum on the details for now. “It’s a beautiful new chapter for me,” she teased. “Something special is definitely on the way.”
Apple’s list of VMX credits reads like a guilty-pleasure watchlist: Delusion, Teacher’s Pet, Climax, Baligtaran, Kiskisan, Karinyo Brutal, Tuhog, and Patikim-Tikim. She may be leaving the bed scenes behind, but she’s still keeping things intimate — this time through music.
Before she was a bedroom bombshell, Apple was a little girl belting tunes in family karaoke nights. “I discovered my love for singing at five,” she said. By 14, she was writing songs, joining school competitions, performing in mall shows, and even serenading lovebirds on Valentine’s Day.
Earlier this year, Apple signed with Viva Records and released her first single Sunflower in the Sunset on February 7, a personal ballad she co-wrote with her producer Alas. “It’s a very personal song… the kind of music I want people to feel, smell, touch — just by hearing it,” she explained, with the kind of sensuality that made her a VMX favorite.
While she’s trading erotic cinema for heartfelt melodies, Apple makes it clear she’s not losing her edge — she’s just changing the way she seduces her audience. “I want my music to touch people the same way my films did — deeply and unforgettably.”
