2GO Group, Inc., the country’s largest integrated transportation and logistics provider, has formalized a strategic partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) aimed at strengthening the supply chain backbone of micro, small, and medium enterprises nationwide.
The collaboration was sealed through a Memorandum of Agreement that officially brings 2GO into DTI’s Supply Chain and Logistics Center as a key private-sector partner. With the agreement in place, 2GO becomes part of the government’s go-to logistics network, expanding its role beyond transport services to include logistics consultancy and advisory support for DTI-registered enterprises.
The partnership is designed to give MSMEs access to more efficient, cost-effective, and scalable logistics solutions—often a critical hurdle for small businesses looking to expand beyond their immediate markets. By combining DTI’s nationwide MSME programs with 2GO’s end-to-end logistics capabilities, the initiative seeks to help enterprises move goods more efficiently, optimize costs, and build stronger, more resilient supply chains.
DTI Secretary Ma. Cristina Roque said the collaboration strengthens the agency’s ability to respond to the evolving logistics needs of Filipino entrepreneurs. Through partnerships with industry leaders like 2GO, she noted, MSMEs gain access to reliable logistics services that allow them to streamline operations and pursue growth opportunities aligned with their business needs.
As part of its commitment, 2GO will actively support SCLC initiatives by providing logistics consultancy services, participating in business matching and market linkage activities, and helping establish Logistics Support Desks in selected Negosyo Centers across the country. These desks are expected to serve as on-the-ground touchpoints where MSMEs can receive practical guidance on shipping, distribution, and supply chain planning.
Faye Alonzo, 2GO’s Business Unit Head for Forwarding, emphasized the company’s readiness to support enterprises at every stage of growth. From basic shipping requirements to more complex, multi-node supply chain solutions, she said 2GO is prepared to help MSMEs connect to new markets and scale their operations with greater confidence.
For 2GO, the partnership reinforces its broader mission as an enabler of commerce and mobility across the Philippines. Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Will Howell said efficient logistics is not just about moving goods and people, but about creating opportunities, supporting livelihoods, and driving inclusive economic growth across communities.
The DTI–2GO partnership reflects a shared commitment to building a more resilient, accessible, and competitive logistics ecosystem—one that empowers MSMEs to participate more fully in the national economy and beyond.
