GAZA, Palestine — At least two Palestinians were killed and five others wounded in separate Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, while two more people, including a six-year-old girl, died from injuries sustained in earlier attacks, according to medical sources.

The latest violence occurred as Israel held its parliamentary elections, with Israeli military operations continuing in several areas of the Palestinian territory.

In northern Gaza, Israeli forces shot and killed 28-year-old Mahmoud Samih al-Harsh along al-Hawja Street in the Jabalia refugee camp, medical sources told Anadolu.

Another Palestinian, whose identity was not immediately established, was killed in an Israeli strike near al-Alam roundabout in the al-Mawasi area of Rafah in southern Gaza. His body was subsequently recovered.

Meanwhile, six-year-old Tahani Mohammed Saeed Shalalfeh died from injuries sustained when Israeli troops opened fire in al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, on Monday.

Ahmed Yassin Bseiso also succumbed to wounds suffered several days earlier during an Israeli attack along al-Thawra Street in central Gaza City.

In a separate incident, a Palestinian fisherman was injured by shrapnel from an explosive dropped by an Israeli drone off the coast of Khan Younis, according to civil defense sources.

Two other Palestinians were wounded by Israeli gunfire in separate incidents in Qizan Rashwan and east of Hamad City.

Medical personnel at Al-Awda Hospital also reported that two Palestinians, including a child, sustained injuries from Israeli fire east of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

Israeli naval vessels reportedly fired artillery shells and machine guns toward Palestinians along the shoreline near the al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City, according to local sources.

The latest incidents added to the casualties reported in Gaza despite a ceasefire agreement that took effect in October 2025.

According to figures cited in the report, more than 1,500 Palestinians have been killed in the territory since the ceasefire began.

Since October 2023, Israeli military operations in Gaza have killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000 others, according to the reported figures.

The conflict has also caused extensive destruction across the territory, with approximately 90 percent of civilian infrastructure reportedly damaged or destroyed.
