The Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 in Central Luzon arrested 1,696 individuals wanted for various charges in October and November.
In a statement on Tuesday, PRO-3 director, Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, said among those apprehended were 258 most wanted persons, 14 at the regional level, 81 at the provincial level, and 163 at the municipal level for heinous crimes, including murder, rape, robbery, and drug-related offenses, from October 1 to November 30.
Maranan commended the operating units and the continued cooperation of the community in suppressing illegal activities in the region.
“Ang PRO-3 ay patuloy na paiigtingin ang kampanya laban sa kriminalidad upang tiyakin na ang ating mga komunidad ay mapayapa at ligtas,” he said.
He also urged police officers to continue with their meaningful work to maintain a high level of security and order in the communities they serve. (PNA)
