Toyota celebrates dealer excellence at 2026 conference and TOPS Awards

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) gathered dealer leaders from across the country to celebrate excellence and performance at the 2026 Toyota Dealer Conference and Toyota Outstanding Performers in Sales and Service (TOPS) Awards, recognizing the individuals and dealerships that drove the brand’s strong results in 2025.

The annual gathering serves as both a performance review and a celebration of the people behind Toyota’s nationwide success—from bustling showrooms and service bays to customer touchpoints that keep Filipino motorists returning to the brand. Through the TOPS Awards, TMP highlights the highest standards in sales, service, customer experience, and operational excellence across its extensive dealer network.

TMP Chairman Alfred V. Ty emphasized the company’s mission of delivering meaningful mobility to Filipinos while strengthening Toyota’s deep connection with customers. “Let us continue to create happiness and mobility for all. As one Toyota, let us continue to be the number one in the hearts, minds, and homes of every Filipino,” he said.

Among the highlights of the ceremony was the President’s Award of Excellence, the company’s top recognition for dealerships that achieved outstanding performance across all areas of operations.

In the Large Business Division, Toyota Marilao, Bulacan Inc. emerged as champion, followed by Toyota San Fernando, Pampanga Inc. as first runner-up and Toyota Otis Inc. as second runner-up.

Toyota Nueva Ecija Inc. took the top honor in the Medium Business Division, with Toyota Isabela Inc. and Toyota Dagupan City Inc. finishing as first and second runners-up, respectively.

In the Small Business Division, Toyota Subic Inc. secured the championship, while Toyota Plaridel, Bulacan and Toyota Tarlac City earned first and second runner-up honors.

TMP also recognized exceptional customer service through the President’s Customer Satisfaction Cup of Excellence Award, which highlights dealerships that delivered the highest levels of care, trust, and support throughout the entire Toyota ownership journey.

Meanwhile, the President’s Value Chain Award—given to the dealership that best integrated Toyota products and services to create a seamless customer experience—was awarded to Toyota Batangas City Inc., with Toyota Tarlac City also recognized for its performance.

Beyond dealerships, TMP honored individual achievers under the Toyota Outstanding Performers in Sales and Service (TOPS) program, recognizing the frontliners whose expertise and dedication helped drive the company’s success.

Joan R. Barcia of Toyota North EDSA was named TOPS Finest Marketing Professional of the Year, while Arnold R. Agbay of Toyota Shaw Inc. received the TOPS Finest General Job Service Advisor of the Year award. Gemibert E. Dimaunahan of Toyota Batangas City Inc. was recognized as the TOPS Finest Body and Paint Service Advisor of the Year.

TMP President Masando Hashimoto underscored Toyota’s continuing evolution in the mobility sector, stressing that the company’s mission extends beyond building vehicles. “Creating ever better cars is our DNA,” he said. “But our mission goes beyond that—to evolve Toyota’s role in the lives of our customers. As our Global Chairman Akio Toyoda shared at the recent Japan Mobility Show, we are evolving from providing mobility for all to enabling mobility for each unique customer.”

Toyota Dealers Association of the Philippines (TDAP) President Jimmy Yaokasin also reflected on the challenges and opportunities facing the automotive industry, describing the journey ahead as a marathon shaped by technological shifts and changing consumer expectations.

“We are in a long-distance race,” Yaokasin said. “One marked by market shifts, digital disruption, economic cycles, EV transitions, supply chain challenges, and ever-rising customer expectations. Let us run our race with confidence, conviction, and integrity.”

With the awards ceremony reinforcing the partnership between TMP and its nationwide dealer network, Toyota reaffirmed its commitment to raising service standards and expanding mobility solutions for Filipino motorists.

As the company looks ahead, TMP said it will continue working closely with its dealers to deliver quality vehicles, seamless ownership experiences, and greater mobility for customers across the Philippines.
