Keanu Jahns delivered a masterclass in composure and shot-making, firing a sizzling 8-under 64 on Friday to capture the ICTSI Caliraya Springs Championship crown in Cavinti, Laguna.

The 29-year-old Filipino-German closed out the tournament with a 72-hole total of 22-under 266, pulling away from veteran Angelo Que by four strokes to secure the P2.5 million event at Caliraya Springs Golf Club’s Lakeside course. The win earned Jahns a cool P440,000 and, perhaps more importantly, a statement victory against some of the country’s best.

“I just stayed composed and kept pace with Angelo because I knew someone would go low today,” Jahns shared. “We were battling until No. 15—it was a great match. These kinds of duels test your experience and character, and I’m proud I handled the pressure well.”

Jahns’ triumph comes after a steady run in the earlier legs of the circuit—tying for sixth at Pradera Verde, placing 17th at Eagle Ridge, and finishing runner-up at Forest Hills.

Que, a three-time Asian Tour champion, carded a second consecutive 67 to finish at 18-under 270, pocketing P287,500. Rupert Zaragosa followed with a solid 68 for a 14-under 274, good for third place and P160,000.

In the women’s division, Princess Superal put on a dominant display to take home the P125,000 champion’s prize. The former US Girls’ Juniors champion was beaming after sealing the win.

“It feels great. I’m so happy,” Superal said. “This year, I really felt my game improve. I’ve been waiting for this moment, and deep down, I knew I could win again.”

Sarah Ababa claimed second place and PHP82,000, while Florence Bisera finished third. Defending champion Harmie Constantino and Tiffany Lee rounded out the top five.
