Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar organized a medical outreach program benefiting approximately 200 elderly residents from Barangays Talon 1 to 5 in Las Piñas City.

This program underscores her ongoing commitment to promote healthy lifestyles and enhance the well-being of vulnerable members of the community.

During the event, held recently at Pag-Ibig Homes 2 in Barangay Talon 5, beneficiaries received complimentary check-ups, consultations and essential maintenance medications.

Additionally, indigent children were treated to complimentary servings of fast-food spaghetti, enhancing the inclusivity of the outreach effort.

"Ensuring the continued health of our elders, parents, and grandparents is paramount. With the prevalence of illnesses exacerbated by high heat indexes and various other conditions, regular check-ups are imperative to ensure their resilience and vitality," Villar said.

In her dedication to uplifting indigent families, particularly those from vulnerable demographics, Villar extends both medical and financial aid.

The lawmaker’s efforts also include aiding impoverished expectant mothers, guiding entrepreneurs in establishing businesses and facilitating employment opportunities for the unemployed, among other forms of assistance.
