The Minnesota Timberwolves avoided a sweep in the NBA Western Conference Finals after securing a 105-100 victory over the Dallas  Mavericks in Game 4.

  Anthony Edwards led the charge with a game-high 29 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns showcased his long-range shooting skills.

  Rudy Gobert contributed a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Mike Conley Jr. added solid support.

  With their first win in the best-of-seven series on Tuesday night, the Timberwolves forced a Game 5 at home on Thursday night.

  They aim to make history by becoming the first NBA team to rally from a 3-0 deficit in a playoff series.

  Luka Doncic delivered an impressive performance for the fifth-seeded Mavericks, recording a triple-double with 28 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists.

  Kyrie Irving added 16 points, four assists and two rebounds. PJ Washington chipped in with 10 points, Daniel Gafford scored 12 and Jaden Hardy added 13 points.

   As the series shifts back to Minnesota, the Timberwolves will strive to keep their NBA Finals hopes alive. 

  The critical Game 5 will take place on Thursday, May 30.
