While many Congressmen were focused on lobbying for the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) projects, Congressman Jose "Bong" Teves took a different approach.
Serving as the Majority Floor Leader, Executive Vice President of the Partylist Coalition, and TGP Partylist representative, he dedicated his efforts to various social services to uplift the lives of the most vulnerable. One of his key initiatives is the TUPAD projects in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), providing assistance to displaced workers.
Currently, 24,017 individuals have benefited from this project. Through partnerships with the Department of Social Welfare, TGP Partylist has been able to distribute Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS). Additionally, in collaboration with the Department of Health (DOH) under the DOH MAIPS (Medical Assistance for Indigent Program), TGP Partylist has supported 10,778 beneficiaries.
Furthermore, 1,665 individuals have received scholarships through TESDA and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as part of Cong. Bong Teves' SMART (Students Monetary Assistance for Recovery and Transition program) projects are still ongoing.
And I have to mention his unwavering support to the Philippine Red Cross blood donation campaign.
Congressman Bong has introduced several bills aimed at improving the lives of the most vulnerable and less fortunate constituents. While Congressman Bong Teves is actively engaged in these initiatives, he benefits from the strong and unwavering support of the TGP Party List Board of Trustees.

"I have noticed that some 'vloggers' present themselves as harbingers of truth, profiting by exploiting audiences who believe what they say is the absolute truth. I strongly disagree with this notion.
During the PBBM campaign, only a few of us worked tirelessly across various platforms to share the truth without seeking any compensation. Recently, our colleague journalist, Charlie Manalo, was implicated by Ms. Claire in an issue I’m pretty sure she cannot prove.
Several individuals have been dragged into her campaign to undermine the government. While I am unsure of the motives behind these actions, I can attest that Charlie, whom I know personally, did not receive any financial support from any campaign groups.
Charlie is a devoted family man who dedicates much of his time to caring for his children. What will his sons say to him when they grow up, knowing that their father was accused of prioritizing financial gain over the principles he instilled in them? While a legal case is a potential recourse, the process can be arduous and demanding.
One individual who’s also repeatedly mentioned by Ms. Claire is GM Mel Robles of PCSO, known for being a composed, collected, and devout person. I urge social media platforms to fact-check all videos that provoke division. When accusing others of criminal acts, the burden of proof lies with the accuser.
It is important to present evidence promptly without prolonging the issue.
While technology can bring order to a chaotic environment, it also has the power to sow chaos in a government that is diligently striving to serve the best interests of the Filipino people. What do we stand to gain by undermining our government instead of supporting its efforts?
In today's complex landscape, numerous challenges arise that our government cannot tackle single-handedly. We must come together to assist our nation, as this is the only one we have.
