The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), in collaboration with the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO), the Filipino War Veterans Foundation Inc. and the local government of Laoag, organized a free medical and dental mission at the Laoag City Sports Complex on May 24, 2024.
This initiative aimed to provide accessible healthcare services to underserved communities across the Philippines, focusing on improving the health and well-being of veterans, retired military personnel and their families.
The mission, spearheaded by the PCSO Medical Services Department under the leadership of Dr. Rouel Aparato, served a total of 175 patients.
Liza dela Cruz, the officer in charge of the Veterans Affairs Management Division at PVAO, expressed her gratitude for PCSO's support, which contributed significantly to the success of the PVAO Caravan and Medical Mission.
