Parts of Ermita, Taguig to experience power outages on June 23


The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced on Thursday that parts of Ermita and Taguig in will experience power interruptions on June 23 due to scheduled maintenance activities.

  In an advisory from Meraclo, the maintenance work includes pole replacements, line reconductoring, and reconstruction along various streets in Ermita and the Enlisted Personnel Village 1 in Taguig City's Barangay Western Bicutan.

  In Ermita, Manila, interruptions will occur between 8:30 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 3:30 p.m. affecting portions of United Nations Avenue, San Carlos Street, Churucca Street,

Kalaw Avenue, Jorge Bocobo Street, Padre Faura Street, Taft Avenue, Arquiza Street, Grey Street, Adriatico Street, Pedro Gil Street, Engracia Reyes Street and Abenida Maria Orosa Street.

  In Taguig City's Enlisted Personnel Village 1, Barangay Western Bicutan, maintenance will be conducted from 8 to 11 a.m. affecting several streets, including Kakawati, Eucalyptus, Sampaguita and Manggahan streets.

  Affected residents are advised to take necessary precautions and prepare accordingly for the scheduled power interruptions.
