President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s satisfaction and trust ratings saw a modest increase in September, while Vice President Sara Z. Duterte suffered a slight decline, a poll conducted by Tangere showed.
The study from Sept. 16 to 19 showed that Marcos' performance rating increased from 46% in August to 46.4% this month.
The President's trust rating also rose from 58.5% to 58.8% during the same period.
According to the survey, Northern and Central Luzon have the highest levels of satisfaction and trust in President Marcos, especially among respondents aged 26 to 35.
Meanwhile, respondents in Mindanao and those aged 51 and older recorded the highest dissatisfaction and distrust ratings for the President.
On the other hand, Vice President Duterte's satisfaction rating slightly dipped from 49 percent in August to 48.7% in September.
Similarly, Duterte's trust rating dropped from 57% to 56.8% for the same period.
Respondents in Mindanao rated Duterte the highest in trust and satisfaction. At the same time, dissatisfaction and distrust of the Vice President were more evident in Central Luzon, Northern Luzon, and Southern Luzon.
The survey had 2,000 participants across the Philippines.
According to its website, Tangere, owned by Acquisitions Apps, Inc., is a full-service market research firm that started as an opinion poll survey before the COVID-19 pandemic.
It leverages mobile application technology, social media engagement, and big data analytics.
