Harnessing the power of promising workstream innovators

To harness the power of the Philippines’ e-commerce revolution and amplify its impact on the country’s economy, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) prioritizes the establishment of infrastructure, systems, and processes to help achieve seamless and efficient supply chains and further encourage digital adoption.

As a key player in the industry, Shopee Philippines recognizes the value of investing in human capital to drive operational innovations and support the DTI’s e-commerce vision.

Shoppe is excited to announce the opening of applications for its Future Operations Leader Program (FLP). This unique graduate program offers diverse cross-functional work experiences to fresh graduates and young professionals, setting them on a path to becoming the next generation of operational leaders.

“With Shopee’s industry expertise, we are in a favorable position to serve as an incubator for operations leaders. Designed to develop the skills and potential of aspiring operations innovators, effective communicators, solution-centered thinkers, and resilient future leaders, the Future Operations Leader Program aims to nurture the next generation of operational leaders through hands-on training to understand e-commerce logistics and fulfillment fully,” said Karen Perez, head of HR Center for Excellence at Shopee Philippines.

Recent graduates and young professionals with three years of experience or less are invited to apply to the two-year FLP. This program offers a holistic immersion in the e-commerce operations process, with FLP associates taking ownership of operations targets and engaging in meaningful projects.

They will also gain valuable on-ground experience through rotations in our nationwide warehouse, sorting center, and hubs. Each associate is assigned a manager, buddy, and mentor to provide guidance throughout their professional journey at Shopee.

To join the FLP program, applicants must go through a four-step process that starts with an online assessment and continues through a series of interviews. Mobility and the capacity to be assigned to different locations across the country are required among applicants.

Mark your calendars for the FLP Open House Webinar on 19 June 2024 at 6:00 PM PST. This is a prime opportunity to gain in-depth insights into the program and hear from industry experts about exciting career prospects. Secure your spot at bit.ly/ShopeeFLPOpenHouse.
