Brosas champions women and children's rights in Senate bid for 2025

During the National Convention of the Makabayan Coalition at the San Andres Sports Complex, Gabriela Women’s Party Rep. Arlene Brosas reiterated her intention to run for a Senate seat in the 2025 National Elections and declared her commitment to further enhancing her strong legislative track record.

In her speech, Brosas presented her priorities that focus on the rights of women, children, and the LGBTQ+ community.

She also highlighted some of her authored measures, including the Expanded Solo Parents Welfare Act, Expanded Maternity Leave Law, Occupational Safety and Health Law, and Anti-Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Law, among others.

Brosas pledged to focus on measures that will strengthen laws against violence, including amendments to the Anti-Rape Law and the passage of the Divorce Bill and the SOGIESC Equality Bill.

She urged Filipino voters to unite against systemic discrimination and violence affecting marginalized groups.
